Have you heard of TED?

October 13th, 2008 · No Comments · Non profit

One thing that makes a company lovely is sharing knowledge.  There are few organisations out there that share knowledge quite as well as TED. TED is an annual conference held in Long Beach, California (and now across the globe). As a conference it is both exclusive and expensive, however the organisers have started uploading videos of the talks to and YouTube, free for all the world to see!

Embedded below is the remarkable story of how TED came to exist in it’s current incarnation. My favourite talks include: juggling, education, classical music, how it feels to have a stroke, Tony Robbins, Richard Branson, Hans Rosling and Joshua Klein on the amazing intelligence of crows. (Can you tell I’m a fan?)

If you like these talks then I believe the best thing you can do is share them with your friends. So go out and spread the word; and if you haven’t seen them before – prepare to be inspired!
